Avoid Poverty of Ambition

A little over a week ago the United States elected a new President, a leader for both Americans and the world. Just like when the Monitor met the Merrimack, everything changed right then and there. Ripples of that change may come slow but they will come, maybe they will even be waves. As President Lincoln once said "I walk slowly, but I never walk backwards." Let us heed Lincoln's advice. America's journey to fulfill its promises has always been slow, but the nation has never moved backwards. Americans, in the coming years, will be forced to walk slowly but we will never walk backwards.
